Motocross – Eddie Diaz reported:

    • A motocross promoter is inquiring about running AMA/D36 motocross series. With AMA’s restrictions on "Dash for Cash" and "Jump Off contest" this promoter will likely not pursue our district.

Banquet – Kevin Yost reported:

    • Great job to Jill Patterson on the program, raffle, sponsors, etc. too much to list!!! Kevin Yost for organizing everyone. Thanks to the Dirt Diggers for manning the bar this year. Brian Butler did a great job on the Mic! Nice opening. Paul Mahoney for a beautiful program. Ken Heuser for reserving our new banquet hall. Buckhorn Catering for an awesome meal.
    • Looking to find ways to encourage our trophy winners to attend the banquet to receive their awards. Only 40% of award winners participated. We need some good ideas for 2003.
    • There was a lack of committeemen attendance to the banquet. We should all be there to support and celebrate our hard work for the year.

LAO – Bill Dart reported:

    • There is a new Regional Forester by the name of Jack Blackwell. Jack wants to solve the Sierra Frame Work this year and clean up problems in the forestry.
    • OHV Grant – Last month Bill brought up to the Attorney General that the commissioners were changing and adding on to the Grants after approval. The Attorney General responded with correcting the Commissioners actions on changing Grants after approval status.
    • Carnegie – has now become a hot spot with riders. Some riders are putting a law suit against the state for excessive trail closure and ticketing in the park.
    • Rock Creek – They have not been opening replacement routes when closing current trails.
