Dirt Track: Ralph Lee reported:
- New season starts in 2 weeks.
Enduro: Alan Plumbridge Reported:
- Quicksilver National on 2/17/02. The event was held at Clear Creek with 198 riders leaving the line. With around 150 pre-entries the weather system that showed up Sat. night changing the conditions of dry and dusty to wet, muddy and falling rain and snow had to impact the total that post entered and left the line. Conditions were slick on the 1st loop with bottlenecks starting at about the 4 mile mark, this resulted in lots of B & C riders becoming so late that they would never get back on time and houring-out or deciding not to continue on the 2nd loop. The 2nd loop consisted of more single track and roads that continued to deteriorate with the weather. As reported by the club the 2nd loop was designed to take points from the B & C riders but the top riders were dropping points. The 3rd loop was described by some riders as all uphill with deep ruts. Weather was the issue; I did not hear 1 complaint about he trials or the layout of the course from the riders I talked with, good job Ramblers, one of these years the weather will cooperate.
- 1 injury reported, course worker received a bruised arm that resulted from a head on with a rider heading back to camp.
- Next event Wild Piglet/Wild Boar on 3/9 & 3/10

A&B results were posted same day and trophies given out. C’s results were posted on Tuesday following the event. The weather was perfect and the dirt was nice.
- Hollister National: Referee Edd Haymond reported: 682 riders entered. Great conditions and course. The new starting position was much safer than previous years and we had no pile-ups in the first turns. There were a couple of bottlenecks on the first lap but no time adjustments or reroutes were necessary. There were 8 injuries, no protest. The results are on the web except for the Gentlemen and Formula 100’s. They shall be up soon.
