The track was exceptionally well groomed and the weather was warm for November. Competition was fierce between the riders as they are all trying to get their points to make a "High Point" at this track for the season. We experienced lots of excitement as we watched racing including one collision that sent a rider through the fence. He was fine but the bike didn't fare as well. We also saw a rider come onto the track in a warrior costume complete with horns. Our local warrior was Steven Scott riding a new 450 Honda in the Open B class. He got a round of applause from the crowd as he came onto the track. He got another round after he picked himself up off the track. He lost a horn somewhere and was last seen holding his skirt while looking for his horn. Johnny Larson got the hole shot in this one but went tumbling when Chris Canepa squeezed underneath him in the fourth lap to take the lead and go on to win in front of Justin Felice. The stock 50C race included 10 riders and Dominic Moterosso was first across the line but he had some serious competition from Marcus Fragoso throughout the race who finished right beside him. James Williams took home the brass in the B class and Michael Martin was the first A. Monterosso was first again in the mod 50 c class with Michael Avila and Brandon Bernardeau first in the B and A classes. DJ Sharkey and Tony Davila battled throughout the 60 race after Davila got around Danielle Caldeira but in the end it was Davila first in the B class. Steve Bonsey and Joseph Hernandez battled again with each other in the 80 class but it was Sam Clark who came off the line first for the hole shot. When the checkers flew it was Hernandez, Bonsey and Frankie Garcia in the A class with Clark taking the B class home. Clark came back to win the 100 mod youth B class and the 100 mod sportsman C classes. Rick Hocking was first against 2 B riders in the Vintage Singles but we saw him come back in the Open A and show us how to get around the track in a hurry in front of 9 others. He and Mark Corsetti came into the first turn in the first and second positions in this race and crossed the line in the same order. The Vet A class was 8 riders strong and after finishing third in his heat race, Robert Bacosa came back to win this one. Casey Yarrow took first position in the Pro Am and finished in front of Sahwn Raggio and Jimmy Sanchez. Sanchez was riding the new Honda 450 for the first time in the Pro Am class and finished 2nd behind Yarrow in the heat race. 1 Results: Pee Wee stock 50C 1. Dominic Monterosso; 2. Marcus Fragoso; 3.
